This policy explains how NINOT handles personal data when you visit ninotmedia.com or write to us. It covers this site only.

Who is responsible

NINOT, owner of ninotmedia.com, is responsible for the data described here (the “controller”: whoever decides why and how the data is used). Our contact details are in the Contact section.

Data we process

When you visit the site: your IP address, your browser and device with their technical characteristics (user-agent), the address (URL) of the page you visit, where the visit came from (referrer), and a random identifier kept in your browser's local storage. When you write to us through the form: your name, e-mail address, site or company, and your message.

What we use it for

To keep the site secure, to prevent fraud and invalid traffic, to measure the site's audience, and to reply to people who write to us. We do not use this data for personalised advertising.

Legal basis

Visit data: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and free of fraud and in knowing how it is used (a legitimate interest is a reasonable business need that does not override your rights). Messages you send us: steps taken at your request before a possible contract, that is, replying to what you asked.

How long we keep it

We keep technical visit data for as long as necessary for security, fraud prevention and audience measurement purposes. This includes technical copies that NINOT itself keeps for analysis. Messages are kept for as long as needed to reply and follow up on the conversation.

Who receives the data

We do not sell data. We share it only with the providers that make the site work: hosting and cloud storage providers, such as Cloudflare, which hosts and delivers the site, stores the visit data and measures audience; a third-party fraud-detection provider, which receives technical visit data to identify invalid traffic; and FormSubmit, which forwards form messages to our inbox.

International transfers

These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and portability (receiving your data in a reusable format). Write to either address in the Contact section. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Local storage and cookies

We keep your language preference and the random identifier mentioned above in your browser's local storage and, in session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab, the country of your connection, used to choose the language. Our hosting provider and the fraud-detection provider may use their own technical cookies or similar technologies.
